Frequently asked questions
How is exact age calculated?
Count the completed years from your date of birth, then the completed months since your last birthday, then the days since that month began. Born 15 March 2000, on 12 October 2026 you are 26 years, 6 months and 27 days old.
Can I find my age on a past or future date?
Yes. Change the “Age on” date to any date after your date of birth, for example an admission or exam date.
What if I was born on 29 February?
In years without 29 February, the calculator counts your birthday as 1 March. Some institutions use 28 February instead, so check if a rule depends on it.
How do I check my age for a government job?
Government jobs count age on the closing date in the advertisement and allow age relaxation for some candidates. Use our govt job age calculator, which also checks the age limit.
Which date of birth should I use?
Use the date on your CNIC, B-Form or matric certificate. For official purposes the matric certificate date is usually treated as final.
